Jyga Technologies Celebrates Major Global Expansion with a Stronger China Presence

The global pork industry continues to evolve through innovation, technology, and international collaboration as Jyga Technologies officially celebrated the opening of its fifth global entity in Chengdu, China.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a significant milestone for the swine technology company, which has spent more than 30 years developing precision feeding systems and smart farming technology for pork producers around the world. The expansion represents more than a decade of continued presence and relationship building within China’s growing pork production sector.

“We’re not arriving in China; we’ve been here, learning, listening and building lasting relationships,” said Alain Lefebvre, President and CEO of Jyga Technologies. “This new entity is the formalization of the ties we’ve cultivated for years.”

Company leaders, customers, partners, and collaborators gathered to celebrate the official opening and recognize the company’s continued global growth within the livestock and pig farming industry.

Jyga Technologies is widely recognized throughout the swine industry for its GESTAL precision feeding systems, which help pork producers improve feed management, sow performance, labor efficiency, and barn data monitoring. According to company information, more than 18,000 GESTAL feeding systems are currently operating across China, highlighting the growing adoption of precision livestock technology in modern pork production.

The company reflected on how far the organization has come since its early beginnings more than three decades ago and thanked the customers and industry partners who helped make the milestone possible.

“A heartfelt thank you to everyone,” the company shared in its announcement. “This is the result of over a decade of presence, built together.”

The expansion into China further strengthens Jyga Technologies’ global footprint and demonstrates the increasing demand for advanced swine technology and automated feeding systems throughout international pork markets. As pork producers continue adopting smart farming tools and precision livestock technologies, companies like Jyga Technologies continue helping shape the future of modern pig farming.

On behalf of Pork Industry News, congratulations Jyga on your company milestone!
