Seaboard Foods is investing in the future of education and community development through the launch of its new Educators Lead Tomorrow Grants program, designed to support teachers and educators making a difference both inside and outside the classroom.

Announced during Teacher Appreciation Week, the program officially opened applications on May 8 and will remain open through June 30, 2026. The initiative is intended to help educators create innovative learning opportunities that encourage higher-level thinking, hands-on experiences, and real-world skill development for students.

According to Seaboard Foods, the grant program is available to teachers and educators across all academic disciplines in school districts where the company operates. Preference will be given to STEM-related projects and educational materials that help students build critical skills for future careers.

The company says the grants are part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education, strengthening communities, and investing in the next generation of leaders.

“What better way to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week than by supporting the educators who inspire the next generation?” Seaboard Foods shared in its announcement.

The pork industry has long recognized the importance of agricultural education, workforce development, and STEM learning opportunities that prepare students for careers in food production, animal agriculture, science, technology, and rural community leadership.

By supporting classroom innovation and educational advancement, Seaboard Foods continues to demonstrate its commitment not only to pork production and agriculture, but also to the communities and schools connected to the industry.

Applications for the Educators Lead Tomorrow Grants are now open through June 30, 2026.
