Oklahoma Pork Council Welcomes New Board Member from Guymon
The Oklahoma pork industry is welcoming a new leader to its boardroom.
The Oklahoma Pork Council recently announced the appointment of Pati Law of Guymon, Oklahoma, to its board of directors. Law will represent Prestage Farms on the council board, where she brings more than 20 years of experience in pork production, workforce leadership, and agricultural operations.
Law currently serves as human resources manager for Prestage Farms and has spent more than two decades working within the pork industry. Her background in pork production and employee leadership gives her a strong understanding of the people and operations that help drive the U.S. pork supply chain forward.
According to the Oklahoma Pork Council, Law believes her experience can help advocate for the many individuals working across the pork pipeline who contribute daily to modern pork production and animal agriculture.
When discussing her new leadership role, Law shared her appreciation for the pork industry and the people behind it.

“I am proud to be part of an industry that upholds high standards in animal care, responsible production, and delivers a high-quality food product,” Law said. “I am most excited about the opportunity to support the pork industry and represent the people who work every day in production.”
The Oklahoma Pork Council says Law’s appointment reflects the organization’s continued commitment to supporting pork producers, strengthening agricultural leadership, and promoting responsible pork production practices across the state.
As the pork industry continues to evolve with advancements in animal care, workforce development, sustainability, and pork production technology, industry leaders like Law play an important role in helping represent producers and employees throughout the pork sector.
The Oklahoma Pork Council welcomed Law to the board and encouraged industry members to join in recognizing her new leadership role within Oklahoma agriculture and the pork industry.
