Minnesota Pork Seeks Nominations for 2027 Industry Awards
Minnesota Pork is calling on producers, industry partners and supporters to help recognize individuals making a difference in Minnesota’s pork industry, with nominations for the organization’s 2027 awards due this Friday, August 14.
Each year, Minnesota Pork honors leaders who go above and beyond to support pork production, agriculture and the people behind the industry. The annual awards recognize individuals whose leadership, service and commitment are helping strengthen Minnesota pork—from the farm and barn to businesses, communities and the grocery store.
The awards provide an opportunity for Minnesota’s pork community to recognize the producers, advocates and industry leaders who may not always be in the spotlight but continue to make a meaningful impact on pork production and the future of agriculture.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, August 14, 2026.
Minnesota Pork has made the nomination process simple. Those wishing to nominate an individual can download the appropriate 2027 nomination form and complete it electronically as a PDF. Forms may also be printed, completed by hand and then scanned or photographed for submission.
Completed nomination forms should be emailed to kate@mnpork.com by the August 14 deadline.
Minnesota is one of the nation’s leading pork-producing states, supported by generations of pig farmers, agricultural businesses, veterinarians, educators, processors and industry professionals. Minnesota Pork’s annual awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the people whose dedication helps keep that industry moving forward.
If you know someone who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, service or commitment to Minnesota pork, Minnesota Pork encourages you to submit a nomination before Friday’s deadline.
