PENNSYLVANIA — PA Pork is accepting applications for a paid Pork Pod Manager externship for the 2027 Pennsylvania Farm Show.
The opportunity is designed for a college student studying agriculture who is interested in gaining hands-on experience within the pork industry. Prior swine experience is preferred.
According to PA Pork, the Pork Pod Manager should be a team player with strong communication skills who is willing to educate others, work long hours and help manage volunteers. Applicants should also be self-motivated.
The position provides an opportunity for a college student to gain experience working with the pork industry while interacting with consumers and helping share the story of Pennsylvania pork production during the Farm Show.
