ST. PAUL, Minn. – August 26, 2026 – The Minnesota Pork Board will have a new exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair, located in the Oink Booth in the Robert A. Christensen Pavilion. The brand-new exhibit, Everything but the Oink, is a stand-alone, pig-themed twist on the classic operation-style game. Fairgoers can roll up their sleeves and explore all the surprising pig by-products through a fun, hands-on experience.
Visitors will use tongs to carefully extract each object from a specific location of the pig, trying to remove it without activating the red light on the side which signals an unsuccessful pick up. Each object represents a pig by-product that people may use in their everyday life, highlighting how almost every part of the pig is used.
“The new Everything but the Oink display will be an interactive way for fairgoers to learn how we utilize everything on the pig”, said Pam Voelkel, Director of Events and Promotions for Minnesota Pork. “Being able to see the variety of uses for the byproducts from pigs is important to understanding how much of role they play in our everyday life.”
Visitors are encouraged to join Minnesota Pork at the Oink Booth throughout the 2026 Minnesota State Fair to test their skills and learn a little more about pig by-products.
The 2026 Minnesota State Fair runs August 27 through September 7.
