SABETHA, Kan. — J-Six Enterprises is bringing pork directly to consumers this weekend with a free ground pork giveaway at a local grocery store in Sabetha, Kansas.
The pork producer will be at Garrett’s Country Mart on Saturday, October 3, giving customers a free one-pound package of ground pork.
The giveaway will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., or while supplies last, and is open to all customers.
J-Six Enterprises says the event is an opportunity to bring pork into the local grocery store and put a package directly into the hands of consumers in the community.
Events like the Sabetha giveaway also provide an opportunity for pork producers and agricultural businesses to connect with consumers where they purchase their food and encourage families to incorporate pork into meals at home.
