AgMafia Opens Registration for Winter Conference 2.0

Date:

FARGO, N.D. — Registration is now open for AgMafia’s second Winter Conference, an independent agronomy event designed to provide farmers, agronomists and crop consultants with education focused on practical crop production and agronomic decision-making.

AgMafia Winter Conference 2.0 is scheduled for Dec. 8–9, 2026. Sessions will begin Tuesday morning and continue through Wednesday afternoon.

Organizers say seating will be limited to encourage interaction between attendees and presenters. The conference does not accept sponsors, with speakers instead focused on education and discussion rather than product sales.

The two-day event will cover a range of crop production and agronomy topics, including application practices, nitrogen management, precision agriculture, crop inputs and global grain markets.

One session will take a closer look at how farmers and agronomists can determine whether a product actually resulted in a yield increase. Other discussions will examine GMO and non-GMO crop production and its impact on global markets, along with ways producers can turn their combines into more precise data and harvest management tools.

Glyphosate will also be part of the program, with organizers describing the session as a factual discussion about the herbicide and its role within farming operations.

Artificial intelligence in agriculture will be another focus of the conference. The AI session will be led by a presenter who uses the technology regularly within a farming operation and develops projects designed to provide practical value on the farm.

A nitrogen masterclass is also planned as part of the educational lineup.

AgMafia says the goal is to challenge attendees to think differently about the agronomic decisions they make throughout the growing season while providing an opportunity to ask questions and build relationships with other agricultural professionals.

About AgMafia

AgMafia LLC is a partnership between North Dakota agronomists Jason Hanson, Kyle Okke and Bridgette Readel.

Together, the three partners bring more than 85 years of agronomy experience to the organization. Their backgrounds include work with cereals, oilseeds, corn, soybeans, dry beans and specialty crops including sugarbeets and potatoes.

In addition to their daily work with farms and agribusinesses throughout the tri-state region, Hanson, Okke and Readel frequently participate in agricultural events as speakers and panelists.

The group says its independent approach is a central part of both AgMafia and its Winter Conference. Without event sponsorships, organizers say presenters are able to focus on independent perspectives and encourage attendees to reconsider traditional approaches to agronomy.

Registration for AgMafia Winter Conference 2.0 is $200 per person, and seating is limited.

Registration information is available through the AgMafia website.
