The American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV) is inviting members to attend a special members-only session during the 2026 World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, and will focus on lessons learned from pseudorabies and PRRS, two major swine health concerns that continue to impact pork producers and the pork industry.

According to AASV, the session will provide discussion and insight into disease management, biosecurity, and industry response efforts related to swine health challenges facing pig farmers and veterinarians.

World Pork Expo remains one of the largest gatherings for pork producers, swine veterinarians, and pork industry professionals from across the United States and around the world. Events like the AASV members session help bring together industry leaders to discuss swine health, disease prevention, and the future of pork production.

Members can log in through AASV to view the full agenda and additional meeting details.
