The Minnesota Pork Board is now accepting applications for supervisory positions at the Oink and Pork Promotion Booths during the 2026 Minnesota State Fair.

The board is seeking individuals with livestock experience, knowledge of the pork industry and experience working with volunteers and the public. Successful candidates should have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Public speaking and supervisory experience are considered valuable assets. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The Oink and Promotion Booths are key components of Minnesota Pork’s consumer outreach efforts at the Minnesota State Fair. Sponsored by the Minnesota Pork Board, the educational exhibits help connect fairgoers with modern pork production and the people behind the industry.
Located in the Swine Barn’s Robert A. Christensen Pavilion, the Oink Booth focuses on the animal care and farming side of pork production. Visitors can explore educational displays, participate in interactive activities and learn more about how pigs are raised and cared for on today’s farms.
The Promotion Booth, located in the Dairy Building, highlights the consumer side of the industry by sharing information about pork products and their role in family meals and nutrition.
Together, the booths provide an opportunity for fair visitors to engage with Minnesota’s pork industry in a fun, informative and hands-on environment while learning more about the farmers who produce safe, wholesome pork.
Individuals interested in helping educate thousands of Minnesota State Fair visitors about pork production and agriculture are encouraged to apply through the Minnesota Pork Board.
