Indiana Pork Unveils New Signature State Fair Food for 2026: Cornbread & Que
Indiana pork lovers will have a new reason to visit the Pork Tent at the 2026 Indiana State Fair.

The Indiana Pork Farmers Association has officially unveiled its 2026 Pork Tent Signature Food: Cornbread & Que — a sweet-and-savory combination featuring pulled pork piled high on warm cornbread and finished with a drizzle of hot honey.
The new menu item takes one of the Pork Tent’s most popular proteins and pairs it with a comforting cornbread base to create a unique fair food experience.
“We took our fan-favorite pulled pork, piled it high on warm cornbread, and finished it with a drizzle of hot honey for the perfect sweet-meets-savory bite,” Indiana Pork shared in its announcement.
The Cornbread & Que will be available daily throughout the 2026 Indiana State Fair, which runs August 7-23 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. Indiana Pork operates multiple pork tents during the fair and has become a must-stop destination for fairgoers looking to enjoy Indiana-raised pork while learning more about the state’s pork industry. Each year, Indiana Pork introduces a featured menu item to showcase pork in a new and creative way. The annual signature food promotion helps highlight the versatility of pork while giving fairgoers a new flavor experience to enjoy during one of Indiana’s largest summer events.
Along with announcing the new menu item, Indiana Pork is encouraging fairgoers to share their favorite Pork Tent food for a chance to win a family four-pack of Indiana State Fair tickets and Pork Tent meal tickets. As anticipation builds for the 2026 Indiana State Fair, the Cornbread & Que appears poised to continue the Pork Tent tradition of offering innovative pork dishes that celebrate Indiana’s pig farmers and the state’s pork industry. For pork producers, consumers, and fair food enthusiasts alike, the countdown to August just got a little more delicious.
