Michelle Bailey Joins Ohio Pork Council as Office Manager
NEW ALBANY, Ohio — The Ohio Pork Council has announced Michelle Bailey as the organization’s new office manager, bringing years of administrative and organizational experience to Ohio’s pork industry.

Bailey, of Dublin, Ohio, joins the Ohio Pork Council with a background in both the retail and institutional industries. In her new role, she will support the organization’s daily operations while assisting staff, pork producers, and industry partners across the state.
Ohio Pork Council leadership says Bailey’s organizational experience and appreciation for agriculture and community service will help strengthen the organization’s ability to serve Ohio pig farmers.

“The future of Ohio’s pork industry demands a team that is skilled, passionate, and relentless in its pursuit of excellence,” said Cheryl Day, executive vice president of the Ohio Pork Council. “Michelle brings important experience and support that will help our organization continue delivering results for Ohio pork producers.”
Bailey says the opportunity to support the pork industry and contribute to food security made the position especially meaningful to her.
“It’s meaningful to me because I can directly support the pork industry that helps ensure food security for families, while also giving back to the community,” Bailey said.
Founded in 1968, the Ohio Pork Council serves approximately 2,500 members and works to promote and strengthen Ohio’s pork industry through education, advocacy, and producer support.
