The Illinois Pork Producers Association is encouraging pork producers and swine industry employees across the state to recognize hardworking individuals through its Swine Spotlight Award program.
According to the Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA), the program was created to honor employees and team members within the pork industry who go above and beyond in their daily work to help provide nutritious pork products to consumers.
IPPA says selected employees will receive monthly recognition across the organization’s social media platforms as well as recognition in “Chop Talk,” the association’s publication focused on Illinois pork industry news and updates.
The organization noted that pig farmers and pork industry employees play a critical role in animal care, pork production, farm management, and supporting the food supply chain throughout Illinois and beyond.
The Illinois Swine Spotlight initiative also serves as an opportunity to highlight the dedication, commitment, and hard work happening every day on pig farms and within pork operations across the state.
Illinois Pork Producers Association is currently accepting nominations for deserving employees working in the pork industry. Programs like this continue to showcase the people behind pork production and the strong workforce supporting the U.S. pork industry. On behalf of Pork Industry News, we thank the hardworking men and women throughout the pork industry who help keep farms and food production moving forward every day.
