The California Pork Producers Association (CPPA) is recognizing the breeders participating in the 2026 Certified California Bred program, a program designed to support youth livestock exhibitors and California swine genetics.
CPPA recently announced the list of participating breeders for the 2026 show season and says it looks forward to recognizing both breeders and California youth exhibitors showcasing Certified California Bred genetics at county fairs and the California Youth Ag Expo this year.
The Certified California Bred program continues to promote California pig farming, youth livestock involvement, and high-quality swine genetics across the state. The program also helps connect youth swine exhibitors with breeders dedicated to supporting the next generation of pork producers and livestock leaders.
Participating breeders for 2026 include:
Aber 1, BB Livestock, BK Livestock, Blake Livestock, Cal Poly Swine Unit, College of the Sequoias, Deschaine Livestock, Double G Livestock, Edwards Family Showpigs, GNG Genetics, Golden State Genetics, Highland FFA Breeding Swine, Helberg Showpigs, JDL Farms, Loya Livestock & Pfaff Showpigs, MJC Swine Unit, MRC Farms, No Limit Genetics, Ottenwalter Showpigs, Outlaw Showpigs, Priority One Showpigs, Red Fever Showpigs, Redwood Genetics, Sierra Nevada Farms Showpigs, Small Town Genetics, and W-D Swine Farm.
CPPA also reminded exhibitors that youth must be members of the California Pork Producers Association by July 1 to be eligible for awards through the program.
The program highlights the continued investment California pork producers are making in youth livestock education, swine genetics, and the future of the pork industry.
