The WACO Community School District is inviting the public to attend a special open house and dedication ceremony for the new Eichelberger Farms Agri Science Center on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Wayland.
The event will begin with a formal dedication at 8:45 a.m., followed by an opportunity for attendees to tour the newly completed facility. Guests will be able to walk through modern classrooms and a greenhouse designed to enhance hands-on agricultural education for students in the district.
This new agri-science center represents a continued investment in the future of agriculture, providing students with the tools and environment needed to learn about crop production, animal agriculture, and agricultural innovation. The project reflects the strong support for agricultural education within the community and highlights the important role programs like WACO FFA play in developing the next generation of industry leaders. The FFA students will also be selling plants from their greenhouse.
