CALDWELL, Idaho — The Idaho Pork Producers Association is set to welcome the next generation of pig farmers at its upcoming Swine Field Days on May 29, 2026, at The Center at the Canyon County Fairgrounds in Caldwell. Running from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., this free youth-focused event is designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities for anyone interested in the pork industry, swine production, and livestock care.

Attendees will rotate through small-group, interactive stations covering essential pork production topics such as pig care, feeding practices, swine health, showmanship, and livestock judging. The event is structured to give participants real-world experience and practical skills they can apply whether they are raising pigs at home, preparing for livestock shows, or exploring future careers in agriculture.

Idaho Pork’s Swine Field Days continues to play a vital role in strengthening youth involvement in the pork industry, helping build confidence, leadership, and industry knowledge at an early age. Participants will also receive a free T-shirt and lunch, making it both an educational and rewarding experience for young pig enthusiasts across the region.

Events like this highlight the ongoing commitment of Idaho’s pork producers to invest in the future of agriculture by equipping youth with the tools, training, and passion needed to succeed in modern pig farming and the broader livestock industry.
