Pork Tenderloin Event Supports Local Families During the Holidays

NORTH LIBERTY, IA — This is what supporting local pork looks like! On Monday, December 8th, the Copper Boar kitchen was sizzling with Iowa-raised pork as they hosted their 3rd Annual Special Community Event—serving up pork tenderloin sandwiches, all to support the North Liberty Community Food Pantry.

Copper Boar teamed up with Brenneman Pork to give the community a mouth-watering Midwest classic: crispy, perfectly cooked pork tenderloins raised in Washington County. Guests enjoyed their choice of Slaw Style—with apple slaw, sweet corn dijonnaise, and pickled onion—or Plain for straight-up pork perfection. Each FREE meal was served with fries in exchange for a monetary donation to help local families this holiday season.

This fan-favorite Iowa sandwich didn’t just fill stomachs—
it helped fill shelves and hearts. The event showcased the true spirit of Iowa agriculture, proving once again that when pig farmers, local restaurants, and community partners join forces, everybody wins.
